Keep starlings and pigeons away from your (vegetable ) garden or balcony using this plastic owl. If starlings or pigeons see an owl they will move on. Options for use
Put the owl in a conspicuous place.
Standing Fill a third of the owl with sand to prevent it from blowing over. Do this by opening the lid at the bottom of the owl and filling it a third full with sand. Then close the lid tightly.
Standing on stick pole Remove the lid at the bottom of the owl. Insert a long sturdy stick firmly into the ground or mount a stick firmly to your balcony and place the owl as far as possible on the stick.
Hanging On the top of the owl’s head is a small hole which you can use to hang the owl for example on a tree branch or a hook.
